Dr. Elijah Koske was
born and raised in a Christian family in East Africa
Kenya. His parents were the first product of the first
missionaries from America. At the age of ten, he
accepted the Lord as his personal savior. After high
school in Kenya, he attended Kapsabet Bible College
where he was awarded a diploma in Christian education
after four years.
In June of 1988, Dr.
Koske was assigned to serve over ten Africa Inland
Churches (AIC) as pastor/Christian educator, Sunday
school trainer, part time Bible school teacher, and
evangelism coordinator in his hometown. He served these
for nine years. He also planted four new churches, ten
Sunday schools, and trained Sunday school teachers and
laymen to administer them.
In August of 1990, Dr.
Koske married to Janeth Chepkirui and they have been
blessed with five children who are now in Kenya.
In 1995, Dr. Koske came
to Carver Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia and after
one year he graduated with the Bachelor of Arts in
Christian Education. He attended Luther Rice University
in the same year and finished Master of Arts and Master
of Divinity Degrees. Dr. Koske also graduated with
doctor of ministry degree in the same University.
His
Future Ministries
Due to his
diligent prayers and willingness to serve God, Dr. Koske
answered the Lord like Isaiah: Here I am send me
(Isaiah 6:8). Dr. Koske is going back to Kenya to serve
God as a Missionary to the Maasai people of Kenya. The
Massai are nomadic people who live south west of
Kenyan’s capital city (Nairobi). With your prayers and
your financial support, these people will be reached
with the Good News.
Did
you know that Jesus was born in a borrowed manger, He
preached from a borrowed boat, He entered Jerusalem on a
borrowed Donkey, He ate the last Supper in borrowed
upper room, He was buried in a borrowed tomb. . . . Now
He asks to borrow the lives of Christians to reach the
rest of the world. Can He use you? You can do
this by supporting those who are serving God in the
field.
The following
are the Goals of the Mission
Evangelism.
Church Planting
Training Masai People to
reach other Masais
Starting an Orphanage
Center
In Jeremiah
1:7-8, the Lord told Jeremiah:
Do not say I am only a child. You
must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I
command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you
and will rescue you, declares the Lord.
